[September 2022 Edition] Kasumi-chan’s 10 Recommended Shareholder Benefits

hello! I’m Kasumi, a blogger who loves shareholder benefits. I have been running a blog called “Kasumi-chan’s Shareholder Benefits Diary” for 17 years. In September 2022, about 400 stocks will receive shareholder benefits, the second largest number after March, and the benefits are diverse. In addition to meal coupons and discount coupons, there are various special offers such as the popular QUO card and an assortment of our own products. Therefore, this time, I will introduce 10 brands of shareholder benefits recommended by the author, which is twice as many as the regular month.

The final trading date with rights in September 2022 is Wednesday, September 28th, and the ex-rights date is the next day, Thursday, September 29th. If you have a stock you care about, buy it by September 28th and hold it until at least the 29th. (The stock price of each stock introduced in the article is the closing price on August 19, 2022).

The QUO card has no expiration date and is a popular discount that can be used at approximately 60,000 stores nationwide, including chain stores. First of all, I will introduce two brands that can receive this QUO card. Both of these stocks are attractive because they offer preferential treatment to long-term holders and have high dividend yields.

Inabata Sangyo (Securities code: 8098)
Inabata & Co., Ltd. is a trading company specializing in chemical products, such as materials for organic EL displays and high-performance resins for automobiles.

Regarding the preferential treatment, if you hold 100 shares at the end of September, you will receive a QUO card worth 500 yen. If you continue to hold for 6 months or more, it will be increased to 1,000 yen, and if you continue to hold it for 3 years or more, it will be increased to 2,000 yen, so you may consider holding it for a long time. One of the attractions is that the annual dividend (forecast) per share for the fiscal year ending March 2023 is 115 yen, and the dividend yield is over 4%.

Inabata’s stock price is 2,424 yen as of August 19, so if you buy 100 shares, you can get a special offer for 242,400 yen. The combined yield of the preferential yield (0.21%) and the expected dividend yield (4.74%) is 4.95%.
GSI Creos (8101)
GSI Creos is a trading company specializing in textiles and industrial products, handling raw silk and chemicals used in underwear and sweaters.

Regarding the preferential treatment, if you hold 100 shares at the end of September, you will receive a QUO card worth 1,000 yen. It will be increased to 2,000 yen for continuous holding of 3 years or more. The annual dividend per share (forecast) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023 is 70 yen, and the dividend yield is at a high level of over 4%.

The share price of GSI Creos is 1,485 yen as of August 19, so if you buy 100 shares, you will receive a special offer for 148,500 yen. The combined yield of the preferential yield (0.67%) and the expected dividend yield (4.71%) is 5.38%.

Meal vouchers that can be used at restaurants are my favorite special offer because they can be used for meals with family and friends, or when you want to have a little more luxury than usual, and they make your daily life more enjoyable. This time, we will introduce three brands that can receive preferential treatment twice a year at the end of September and the end of March.

Yoshix Holdings (3221)
Yoshix Holdings operates about 300 izakayas mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan and Kinki areas. We are developing nigiri sushi izakaya “Yataizushi” by craftsmen, and “Nipachi” where the price is 280 yen excluding tax.

Twice a year, at the end of September and the end of March, if you own 100 shares, you will receive a 3,000 yen meal voucher that can be used at the company’s stores, plus 10 20% discount coupons. Meal coupons and discount coupons can be used together. For example, if the cost of eating and drinking is 5,000 yen,
discount coupon: 20% off 5,000 yen = 4,000 yen
Meal coupon: 4,000 yen
– 3,000 yen . It feels like a good deal. I sometimes go to “Yataizushi”, and the sushi is reasonably priced, starting at 65 yen per piece, and the freshness of the ingredients is attractive.

The stock price of Yoshix Holdings is 2,376 yen as of August 19, so if you buy 100 shares, you can get a special treatment for 237,600 yen. The combined yield of the preferential yield (2.53%) and the expected dividend yield (1.01%) is 3.54%.
Atom (7412)
Atom has more than 300 restaurants in various locations, including the steak restaurant Steak Miya, conveyor belt sushi restaurants, yakiniku restaurants, and izakayas.

As for the benefits, if you hold 100 shares twice a year, at the end of September and the end of March, you will receive 2,000 yen worth of shareholder benefit points. These points can be used not only at the stores operated by the company, but also at the izakaya “Amataro” and the conveyor belt sushi restaurant “Kappa Sushi” operated by the parent company Colowide (stock code: 7616). It can be used in units of 1P (equivalent to 1 yen), so it is an easy-to-use special offer.

Atom’s stock price is 780 yen as of August 19, so if you buy 100 shares, you can get a special offer for 78,000 yen. The preferential yield will be 5.12% (no dividend for the fiscal year ending March 2022).
