In terms of sound, a major feature is the adoption of the “HEXA audio circuit structure” that combines four of Asahi Kasei Electronics’ (AKM)’s latest flagship DAC “AK4499EX” and two “AK4191EQ” dedicated to digital signal processing. One set of “AK4191EQ” and two “AK4499EX” are used as a set for each of the balanced output and unbalanced output, and after reducing the noise of the input digital signal with the “AK4191EQ”, the analog signal is processed with the two “AK4499EX”. are processed separately. By completely separating digital and analog signal processing and adopting an independent unbalanced/balanced dual audio circuit structure, an overwhelming 130dB (no-load, balanced) SN ratio has been achieved.
Native playback supports up to 768kHz/32bit for PCM and up to DSD512 (DSD 22.4MHz) for DSD, and also supports MQA playback. “Digital Audio Remaster” for real-time upsampling up to PCM 384 kHz/DSD 256, “Cross-feed function” for headphones with a sound image close to that of speakers, natural tone/acoustic tone/traditional tone/harmonic sound/acoustic sound/traditional sound Functions such as DAC filters are also available. The storage capacity is 256GB, and it also has a microSD memory card slot that supports up to 1TB. The display is 5.46 inch full HD. The battery life is about 10 hours (FLAC, 16bit/44.1kHz, volume 80, display off, Low Gain), and it also supports Qualcomm’s QC 3.0 fast charging.
The wireless function supports IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC, aptX HD, LDAC). “AK File Drop” that allows wireless file transfer from PCs, smartphones, FTP software, etc. on the same network, “BT Sink” that allows you to enjoy music from external devices such as smartphones with “A&ultima SP3000”, and Open APK streaming service.
